Welcome to Pittsburgh Skyline. This site is an ongoing project, with a collection of hundreds of original photographs capturing the ever changing angles and beauty of the City of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I update as often as I can with new series, which turns out to be about 3 or 4 times a year. I am originally from Washington, PA, but no longer live in western PA (unfortunately, like a lot of visitors.) I currently reside in Raleigh, North Carolina, but I make it back home as often as I can. After looking around here, check out metroscenes.com, which contains photos from my visits to other cities around the country. Its safe to say, however, there is no place like Pittsburgh!

Pieces of Pittsburgh for June 2006 - These photos were taken during a week I was home in June. I went to a couple Pirate games, and took a flight over the city (again), and photographed plenty of other subjects.
My brother and I went up to the West End Overlook to photograph the sunset. Instead, storms moved in just east of the city and provided spectacular results.

This is an impromptu set of scenes from the Steelers Super Bowl Parade and the post-Superbowl celebration in the city. Not wanting to miss the atmosphere back home for the Superbowl, I made a last minute trip up to southwestern PA the night before the game.

Here is an extensive series from August 2005, including photos from Heinz Field during a Steeler game. Among a few skyline vantage points are Spring Hill cemetery on the North Side, Mt. Washington, and the West End. Click the photo at right to view this set.
