"Pittsburgh Pieces" for June 2006 - These photos were taken during a week I was home in June. I went to a couple Pirate games, and took a flight over the city (again), and photographed plenty of other subjects. |

My brother and I went up to the West End Overlook to photograph the sunset. Instead, storms moved in just east of the city and provided spectacular results. |

This is an impromptu set of scenes from the Steelers Super Bowl Parade and the post-Superbowl celebration in the city. Not wanting to miss the atmosphere back home for the Superbowl, I made a last minute trip up to southwestern PA the night before the game. |

This is a well organized website. I loved it. It’s ver very great. There are so many beautiful views of the City of Pittsburgh, Pa. P.S. I think you should add more beautiful photos.

Just went thru ‘all’ your pictures. Just a wonderful visit! interesing seeing the point’s fountain since they are doing a renovation this year..i think… Saw some things that I guess are new since I lived there too..

Your pictures are awesome! Are you professional or have you considered that route? You have made me so homesick….the Burgh is a beautiful city and I’m forwarding this website to others so they can see what I’m talking about. Are any of these available for purchase? Keep adding to this!

WOW….GREAT……I MISS THE HILLS. FLORIDA IS FLAT, FLAT, FLAT AND LIKE LIVING ON A PANCAKE.
SAN FRANCISCO AND PITTSBURGH ARE A LOT ALIKE. IN FACT I MADE A LARGE PANEL IN A NORTH BEACH RESTAURANT IN SAN FRANCISCO COMPARING THE TWO….IF THERE WAS NO SNOW IN PITTSBURGH IT WOULD BE THE GREATEST PLACE TO VISIT ALL YEAR..

Awesome! I love the desert with it’s mountains,coyotes,beautiful dry weather 9 months out of the year; but I do miss
Pittsburgh. When I first moved to Pittsburgh I thought it was so backward- and I found out that it wasn’t -it has culture, class, great food, nice people and convenient shopping malls.
The desert has none of these unless you drive 1 hour into Vegas. So I guess you have to take the good with the bad no matter where you go.
Again, these picture are Awesome!

I am originally from Claysville but now live in Tampa Florida. It is just heartwarming to see photos this beautiful from the most wonderful city in the world…Pittsburgh Pa!!!!

These pictures are awesome. I truely love these pictures. I am originally from silver Spring, Maryland, currently presiding in Sterling, Virginia. Hopefully, when I retire, I am going to move to Mars, PA to live the rest of my life. I am a Diehard Pittsburgh Steelers fan since I was 10 years old and always will be. Beautiful Pictures of Pittsburgh. I concer the people of Pittsburgh are the best. GO STEELERS!!!!!!!!!!!

Love the pictures. My mother grew up in Pittsburgh and I was born and raised in Ellwood City, PA, about 40 miles north.
I now live in California but miss western PA. Looking forward to the Super Bowl XLIII. Not knowing all the areas, I would have liked a caption with each picture.
