I was transferred from Pittsburgh in 1987 and I never stop missing it. The pics on your webside warm my heart. I have such fond memories of Downtown Pittsburgh with its department stores, shops, business towers and vibrancy. I look at these pics and it takes me right back to the Kaufmann's, Gimbel's and Hornes days with trolleys on the streets, The Bank Center and Gucci and Ralph Lauren at Oxford Center. A lot of it is gone but Kaufmann's remains as Macy's and so does Saks and Burlington's. But, more importantly, the virbrancy is still striking. The Cultural District is such a nice addition to the Downtown scene and the new Market Square is primo. Pittsburghers knock it but if they were to travel to many American cities they would find that our beloved Dahntahn has faired extremely well. Thanks for the trips down memory lane with your magnificent photography.

These pics are so amazing. I am not from Pittsburgh, but went to Duquesne for four years. I fell in love with the school and the city. This series really shows more of my alma mater (even from the air) than any others. I moved to Florida to go to grad school and have missed the burgh ever since. More of Duquesne!!!
