I hope that Pittsburgh leadership remembers that this is one of the few cities in the United States that has a substantial amount of older homes that offer a real charm of what inner city life can be in America. Unfortunately, most cities have already destroy the areas around the Downtown center to make way for freeways, imminent domain land grabs, expansion of enterprise zones, etc. I know some housing in Pittsburgh may be below standards, but it would be a worthwhile gesture to offer assistance to people to repair housing or business, thereby offering jobs and increasing tax bases for the entire city. Look around Pittsburgh, you may the last in the U.S. to fall. Of course, excellent photography!
