Pittsburgh Steelers Superbowl Celebration – February 2006
Friday, February 10th, 2006The Saturday night before the superbowl, at 8PM, my girlfriend (now wife) and I decided that it would be a good idea to drive back to my hometown (Washington, PA, about 25 miles south of Pittsburgh) from Raleigh, NC to watch the game on Sunday, and if we won, go into Pittsburgh to experience the celebration. Once we heard the parade was on Tuesday, I couldn’t pass up the chance to attend.

It was a very cold morning in the Burgh, with flashes of blue sky along with snow flurries.

The city was out in full force to celebrate our Steelers.
